Client: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)
Pay Rate: $50/hour (Preference given to candidates open to this rate; higher rates may be considered)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Engineer – Java to support our client, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), on-site in Raleigh, NC. This individual will act as the Single Point of Contact for the site, interfacing with remote GEA (GE Appliances) technical project teams and ensuring successful execution of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site representative and primary liaison with remote technical project teams.
Implement project actions efficiently while considering operational constraints, site size, and available resources.
Maintain a current and detailed project plan.
Ensure consistent communication with all stakeholders and promptly flag any risks to the project timeline.
Report directly to the GE DT lead on site.
Ensure the timely closure of project deliverables and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development.
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently on-site and collaborate with distributed teams.
Prior experience in customer-facing engineering or support roles is a plus.
Additional Information:
This is a W2 contract role.
H-1B visa transfers are not supported at this time.
